whoami

JP Walker. Journalism degree, a decade-plus in restaurant kitchens, and a self-taught habit of taking things apart until they work. These days that means Linux boxes, a growing homelab, home automation, soldering irons, and a 3D printer that runs more than I do.

This site is the workshop notebook: what I'm building, what broke, and what I learned fixing it. It's also me deliberately walking out of the kitchen and toward IT and technical writing — one documented project at a time.
